Magic mirrors
Interactive magic mirrors are brought to life using a smart “mirror” that’s activated by visitor interaction. The interesting thing about this type of tech is that you can either have the user interacting with something on-screen, for example a new product line, or you can visually transport them to a different location relevant to the brand and message. Other touchpoints can also be added to the magic mirror experience depending on the brand goals, for example allowing the user to then share their photo or experience via social media or email.
Gesture technology
As well as touch-based interactivity it’s also possible to create experiences where the user controls an interface using gestures. On a recent interactive project we worked on, visitors were able to play an interactive quiz which included a computer-generated train conductor from the future where responses were marked using hand gestures.
The result was a fully interactive experience where visitors were immersed in the brand content.
Multi-touch object recognition table
Interactive tables are a great way to get visitors directly involved in an experience. Using object recognition technology we can link all different types of products that are relevant to the brand and pair this with custom on-screen content which is triggered each time an object is placed or moved on the table. Multiple tables can be linked and interacted with at the same time, creating a unique and exciting experience for guests.
Real-time generative AI experiences
With AI being the buzzword of 2024 it’s no wonder that we’ve been looking for ways our clients can use AI to engage retail visitors. Using generative AI on screens or even high-resolution LED walls, you can create a solution that connects AI with the customer experience. For example, a retail visitor could provide their own instructions to the screen to design a new bottle for your latest fragrance. AI would then generate a mock-up of what the fragrance would look like, based on the directions given.
