Event agency Inca Productions approached VAST for AV support on a specialist event for Meta (Facebook). As the event was happening across a series of retail locations, and with VAST’s expertise as the “Retail AV Technology Specialists” we were only too happy to help.

The event was in aid of Meta’s “Good Ideas Deserve to be Found” campaign, highlighting local businesses and how the use of personalised ads helps them to be found, and stay in business.

Across Bournemouth, Newport, Nottingham and Aberdeen, VAST supplied the AV requirements in busy high-street sites. The AV included a mix of Beetronics and LG commercial screens, ranging in size for the different shop fronts. All screens were equipped with 4K Brightsign media players connected to BSN.Cloud for remote content updates using a 4G router.

VAST also supported the interactive element, using the latest 12.9” iPad Pros to invite visitors to scan a QR code from outside the shop window. This triggered a change in screen content, taking the user to the Meta for Business URL as well as triggering specific lighting states. Meta were also able to collect analytics from the installation, including number of scans per day, by hour. Information which could be viewed and downloaded from a custom-built platform.
